You have to be an early riser with a 4.00am departure. Also for The Walking Safari you have to be reasonable fit and I would also recommend your walking boots. You are accompanied experienced national Park Trails Rangers.We were lucky that we saw 2 black rhinos and then just some ginea fowl,although there were some fresh Lion prints around! I would recommend it as it gives you a fantastic opportunity to walk in the wild In the wild sightings aren't staged and you have to be in the right place at the right time!! It was a great experience and I would definitely book again.

On a walking safari, you get to see a lot more than just the animals. We had a very knowledgable guide ( as I'm sure they all are) who could spot any footprints around, he knew which animals would be heading off for a sleep or a drink depending on the time of day and heat etc.. He could also check piles of poo and tell us what time the animals had been past. It was a fascinating tour. I would highly recommend it.
