Key West enjoys its own unique atmosphere and is well worth a visit if you are staying in Miami for a few days. The scenic drive south is pretty spectacular in its own right, taking you across 42 bridges and over 32 islands. There is a chance to enjoy breakfast en route to Key West and on arrival you will have plenty of free time to explore Key West on your own. Soak up the Caribbean atmosphere or enjoy a spot of lunch at one of the many outdoor cafés. Take a leisurely walk along the palm-line streets and view the tin-roofed conch houses and gingerbread mansions. A visit to Ernest Hemingway’s house and Mallory Square is highly recommended and no visit to Key West would be complete without enjoying a cocktail at Sloppy Joes.  You will be back in Miami by approximately 8.00pm.
