What a wicked way to get totally freaked out and onto an adrenaline high you just want to experience again and again! I went for total submersion - absolutely unbelieveable. I have to admit I was pretty terrified but I just had to take the plunge! And the original, legendary AJ Hackett - definitely the best jump in the world. I'm kitted out with my Hackett t-shirt - any freebies for newly addicted bungy junkies, Do Something Different??!!

This is something you just have to do when in NZ. It's simply awesome.

The Kawarau Bridge jump is great (definitely go for the submersion option), and for those with an even stronger constitution, there is the Nevis Highwire jump - with a 134 metre (440 feet) drop, it's not for the faint-hearted!

I ve done it in 2007 and it was really the best the most exciting thing of my stay in NZ... Do not miss it out, I can really recommend this safe activity! ;-)
