Journey through the desert to the dramatic Kata Tjuta or The Olgas, 36 massive red domes once believed to be a single rock many times the size of Ayers Rock.  En-route take advantage of the panoramic photo stops before arriving at Walpa Gorge.  Here, you can explore the walking trail that runs along a creek between two of Kata Tjuta’s tallest domes. 

In the late afternoon, travel back to through the desert to the Ayers Rock Sunset Viewing Area in time to see the dramatic changing colours of this huge rock dome at sunset.  A chilled glass of wine is a perfect accompaniment to this wonderful experience.
