This tour takes you south from Darwin along the Arnhem Highway, across the Adelaide River and Marrakai Plains and into Kakadu National Park. The first stop of the day is Nourlangie Rock, where you will be taken on a guided walk through the bush to view spectacular ancient Aboriginal rock art and learn about the abundant plant life that have been used for food, bush medicine and other practical purposes by the local aboriginal population for thousands of years.
After a picnic lunch with scenic views, enjoy a cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong to discover the reclusive estuarine crocodiles and colourful birdlife that inhabit these ancient river systems and learn about the unique ecosystem that sustains them. Continue to the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can learn more about the traditions of the Aboriginal people in Kakadu before heading back to Darwin.
