Board the spectacular MV Cheng Ho, an exact replica of the Da Fu, an Imperial Vessel from the Ming Dynasty Fleet commanded by the celebrated Admiral Cheng Ho in the fifteenth century. This relaxing cruise takes you past the mouth of the Singapore River, near to the spot where Sir Stamford Raffles is believed to have first set foot in Singapore in 1819 and then through the Western Anchorage of the world’s busiest port. Enjoy wonderful views of the towering skyline of the business district and imagine how the port must have looked in Admiral Cheng Ho’s day. Continue past Labrador Park and a cluster of tropical islands before stepping ashore at Kusu Island to explore the Chinese temple, terrapin sanctuary and Malay shrine. Your journey then takes you past Lazarus, St John’s and Sisters Islands before returning to port.
There is a choice of three cruise options that all follow this same itinerary. The Morning Glory cruise is the ideal way to start a day of sightseeing and includes a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and light refreshments. The Afternoon Dragon Cruise includes tea and coffee on the cruise, although if you are looking for something more special why not choose the Afternoon High Tea Cruise option that departs at the same time but includes a traditional high tea with cakes and pastries.
