Enjoy a relaxing day exploring the picturesque vineyards of Hunter Valley and sample some of the wonderful local foods and fine wines including semillon, shiraz, chardonnay, gewurztraminer, cabernet sauvignon and earthy pinot noirs.  Your day starts by crossing the Sydney Harbour Bridge as you head towards the Hawkesbury River and the tranquil historic town of Wollombi where the brave can try Dr Jurd’s Jungle Juice, a secret concoction on offer at the Old Tavern.

Continue to McWilliams Mount Pleasant Estate for your first wine tasting of the day and learn about the processes and techniques involved in wine-making on a cellar tour followed by a sumptuous lunch accompanied by some of the fine wines from the cellar.  Enjoy the picturesque views of rolling hills and valleys as you head to McGuigan Wines where you can explore the vineyard and sample more fantastic wines before continuing to Hunter Valley Cellars for your final tasting of the day.  Here, you can also view the local Chocolate and Cheese Factories.
