Eating is also a family affair and this unique experience offers the chance to join an Indian family at home over an evening meal. Learn about traditional spices and techniques used to create the meal and the feast with a soothing chai.

This is not just a meal, but a dining experience in a family home.  After meeting your guide, transfer to the Metro station to start your real life experience. The journey to your host's home provides an opportunity to learn more about what to expect for the evening. Upon arrival you will be greeted by your gracious hosts and welcomed into their home.  As dinner is being prepared learn about the lifestyles of Indians, the traditions of home life, the importance of family in Indian culture, arranged marriages - and of course, the food!

Dine on a traditional Indian home-cooked meal which will be predominantly vegetarian and sure to tantalise your taste buds. Your hosts will be more than happy to provide as much information as you want on the dishes provided, their ingredients and how best to eat them. You can choose to do it Indian style and eat we your hands or you can use utensils if we want. At the end of the meal we will have an opportunity to enjoy same masala chai. After saying thank you and goodbye to your hosts, your local guide will assist with getting a taxi back to your hotel.

Dress standards are conservative throughout Asia, especially outside major cities. To respect this and for your own comfort, we strongly recommend modest clothing. This means clothing that covers your shoulders and knees. Loose, lightweight, long clothing is both respectful and cool in the predominantly hot Asian climate.

To ensure a real life experience, the group sizes are limited to 12 passengers.

Children must be at least 6 years old.
