Complete your journey of discovering Beijing’s history. You will begin this tour at the Yonghe Lamasery, an elegant and ancient sacred temple. This temple was created using many different styles of architecture including styles from Mongolia, Manchuria, Tibet and Han. From here you will make your way to a Chinese zoo, with the highlight of seeing a treasure of China’s, the giant Panda.

 

The next destination is the Summer Palace, known as the Emperors retreat. It has been used for 800 years and was renovated by the Empress Dowager Cixi, which including a manmade lake. 

 

During this excursion you will stroll through a favourite park of Beijing and go on a shopping trip to the Tianhou silk market.

 

The Historic Beijing Tour I  is held on alternate days to the Historic Beijing Tour II so that you are able to do both tours to get a complete historical journey of Beijing.
