Experience the spectacular desert and mountain scenery that lies beyond Dubai on this 4x4 adventure that will take you across the sands and along wadis (dry river beds) deep into the magnificent Hajjar Mountains to Hatta.

Your day starts with a scenic drive by luxury air-conditioned 4-wheel drive vehicle across the towering red sand dunes as you head to the western Hajjar mountains. Here you enjoy an adventurous drive through winding gorges and along dry river beds. The adventurous drive is rewarded by scenes of unexpected beauty as you pass big and small wadis and cross lush landscapes. There is the chance of a refreshing swim in one of the crystal clear mountain pools before you continue to ancient fortress village of Hatta. Explore the heritage clay village and see the sixteenth century fort, the former home of the old Sheikh of Hatta.  Enjoy lunch at a hotel before heading back across the desert to Dubai.

Casual. Dress according to the weather for that day. 

There is normally an opportunity to swim in one the crystal clear mountain pools, so please remember your swimwear. Wadi's during the winter months. Please bring your swimwear.

The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear should be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops and villages.

Please note: This tour requires a minimum 4 persons to operate. If there are less than 4 persons in your party you will placed with other bookings. 

The luxury 4WD vehicles used are air-conditioned and carry a maximum capacity of 6 passengers plus driver. All drivers are qualified off-road professionals; first-aid trained and carry mobile phones. All vehicles are equipped with seat-belts and passengers are required to wear them at all times.
