Depart your hotel in the comfort of a modern, air-conditioned 4x4 vehicle. Your journey starts on tarred roads that take you through the white sands and green fields of Al Aweer and Al Hibab to Nizwa. Here you will cross the magnificent red dunes to the Valley of Maleiha, which merges with the desert of the Rub‘Al Khali and the western Hajjar mountains.  Follow off road tracks through winding gorges as you head into the mountains past wadis, village settlements and lush green oases.  

Take the opportunity to enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural spring pools before continuing towards the ancient fortress village of Hatta - famous for its Portuguese Fort that dates from 16th century and the Heritage clay village featuring traditional houses built some 300 years ago. After time to explore enjoy a wonderful drive across the desert that brings you back to Dubai.

Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year although in the winter months it’s probably advisable to take a jumper or light jacket.  We also advise that you take good quality sunglasses and a bottle of water.

PLEASE NOTE: Tour requires a minimum of 4 persons to operate. Don’t worry if there are less than 4 persons in your party, you will be placed with other customers.

The 4x4 vehicles used are air-conditioned and carry a maximum capacity of 6 passengers plus driver. All drivers are qualified off-road professionals; first-aid trained and carry mobile phones. All vehicles are equipped with seat-belts and passengers are required to wear them at all times.

This safari trip takes you through rugged routes intended to create an adventurous and exciting experience. Therefore, children under the age of three years old are not permitted.
