Enjoy a scenic journey through the Lazio countryside to historic Tivoli.  Your journey takes you pass the Piazza dell’ Esquilino which is one of the hills of Rome, the Castro Pretorio the eighteenth region of Rome and the Lucano Bridge. On arrival in Tivoli explore the ancient ruins of the famous villa built by Emperor Hadrian. Dating back to 2 A.D. the villa was designed to remind Hadrian of the wonderful monuments he had seen in Greece and Italy. Afterwards, continue to enchanting Villa d'Este, a wonderful example of Renaissance architecture. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the estate is particularly renowned for it’s beautiful garden design, inspired by Hadrian’s Villa.
