An ideal alternative to rafting, your half day adventure on the beautiful River Tay will take you along the same stretches of challenging white water as the rafts and offers a fun-filled, adrenalin-pumping experience. As the river drops away, negotiate your way past a succession of challenging rapids and white foaming pools and look out for the famous ‘Zoom Flume’ and ‘The Washing Machine’ and ‘Grandtully’ These inflatable crafts are easily manoevered around the water, enabling you to hit all the rapids on your way down the river. An experienced whitewater kayaker will accompany the duckies on their half day journey to provide safety and guidance.

During the summer months when river levels are lower, this trip may take place on the River Tummel - a dam released stretch of water guaranteed to get your pulses racing.

All passengers must be over 16 years old.

Q: Do I need to book a specific date for my Duckies Experience?  

A: Advance reservations are required, but you do not have to name a specific date at the time of booking. You can opt to leave your ticket voucher open-dated and simply call to book the exact date at a later date, once you have finalised your plans.
