Where else on Earth can afford you the opportunity to coast 38 miles downhill on a bike, while descending 10,000 feet! You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the Haleakala summit where you can view one of the largest extinct volcanic craters in the world, displaying a width of 2 miles and a depth of 2,500 feet! Enjoy a continental breakfast, pastries and hot beverages before mounting your bike and heading down towards the clouds for a very memorable and certainly most excellent adventure!
Along the way you will witness an astonishing diversity of landscapes including desert, shrubland, grassland, bogs, dryland forest, cloudforest, rainforest and coast - of course you will be on a paved road so you don’t need to worry about actually tackling any of these though. As your guides are so familiar with the area, they will stop at the best places for photo opportunities, so as to avoid guests pulling up every 2 minutes! A stop for lunch will also be included.
