Cross the Lions Gate Bridge and head to a Salmon Fish hatchery for your first stop of the day. Here you can learn all about the life-cycle of Salmon which are hugely important in West Coast cuisine. From here, you will be taken to the Capilano Suspension Bridge – arguably Vancouver’s most famous attraction. Originally built in 1889, it stretches 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River and Canyon. Once you’ve crossed the bridge, you’ll be rewarded by seeing the traditional totem pole carvers, the nature park and rainforest and the twin peaks of the lions. There is also a chance to experience the Treetops Adventure, seven suspension bridges that take you through the evergreen canopy at 100 feet.
Continue to the base of Grouse Mountain where you board the Skyride, a scenic gondola ride that will whisk you on a spectacular one mile aerial journey to the mountain summit. Here you will have plenty of free time to admire the wonderful views over downtown Vancouver and you can also visit orphaned Grizzly Bears and Grey Wolves at the protected Refuge for Endangered Wildlife and enjoy the magic of ‘Theatre in the Sky’.You can add your own review for this experience
