Enjoy a guided walk through beautiful Granada and discover her many historic treasures. Marvel at the beautiful architecture and learn more about the Moorish and Spanish influences that have shaped the city and its culture. Your tour will take past the exquisite cathedral designed at the height of the Spanish Renaissance in the 16th Century and the Royal Chapel. This was the last Gothic church to be built in Spain and was commissioned by the Catholic Monarchs for their burial site. Here you will find the remains of Queen Isabel and King Fernando and King Felipe and Queen Juana. The tour also takes you to Isabel la Católica square where you will find a bronze statue of the queen offering Columbus the Santa Fe agreement and the la Alcaicería ‘Old Souk’ shopping quarter. Other highlights include the Albayzin Quarter characterised by steep and narrow winding streets and medieval houses, mosques and baths.
