This 2 hour GPS guided tour that is designed to give you a completely different exposure to San Diego and ventures to areas not possible by bus. It ventures into San Diego's maritime and naval past and present by routing you West toward the Cabrillo National Monument and takes you past fantastic bay and ocean views. Explore the unique vibe of Shelter Bay and then climb up towards Point Loma for wonderful vistas of San Diego Bay and Coronado Island. From here you head down towards Ocean shore where you feel like you are more in Mexico than the USA. Your return journey takes you through the beach community of Ocean Beach and Little Italy. The GoCar is easy and fun to drive and allows you to follow the tour route at your own pace. Not only does your little yellow car tell you where to turn, it also tells the stories that bring the history, culture and landmarks to life.  And don’t worry about taking the wrong turn or getting lost, your GoCar knows where you are even if you don’t!

The tour itinerary is a sample itinerary - you have the choice of following the itinerary exactly or choosing your own route over the course of 3 hours. Renters are free to extend the length of their rental on the day of tour. Additional rental time will be charged at standard rates.

Prices are per GoCar NOT per person and carry up to 2 persons. Simply select the number of GoCars needed for your party. The price includes fuel and is quoted for the approximate tour duration - there is a a 15-minute grace period and the rates for subsequent hours are pro-rated into 15-minute increments. 

All drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid drivers license.

A $300 security deposit will be held on a credit card until the GoCar is returned.  All riders must sign a standard participant agreement.  Renters will have the option to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance on the day of rental.
