Take a full day to journey around beautiful Hawkes Bay wineries with your knowledgeable guide as you sample the selection of local wines on offer.

Hawkes Bay is New Zealand’s largest and most distinguished wine area, with a climate similar to that of the great Bordeaux region.  Producing excellent Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon and recently branching out into increasingly successful Merlot, the Hawkes Bay must be explored by all keen wine connoisseurs. 

You will gain an insight into not only the different wines that the Hawkes Bay produces, but also the growing and winemaking techniques on this fun and informal tour.  The tour visits between 4 and 6 of the area’s approximately 25 vineyards and includes visits to both boutique and historical wineries.

Lunch will be either at a winery, the Silky Oak Café, or a pub lunch and you will be presented with a delicious cheese board at one of the afternoon tastings.
