Overview

A unique opportunity to get acquainted with the places in Prague where the genius composer stayed. Mozart visited Prague on four occasions in the 1780s and 1790s and the city held a special place in Mozart's heart. The first part of the tour you will take by foot, where you will begin by walking through the Old Town where you will see the Golden Angel House, the Estates theatre where the world premiere of Don Giovanni took place in 1791 and the Three Golden Lions House which was home to Mozart during his second stay in Prague.

The second part of the tour you will take by the tram to Bertramka where you can visit the Mozart Exhibition before heading to Old Town. From here you will be taken to Petrin’s view tower and the Strahov Monastry at Hradcany. 

The final part of the tour you will take by foot again and you will start by visiting Strahov Monastery where Mozart improvised on the organ in the church of the Ascension of the Virgin on the day of Don Giovanni premiere, Hradèany Squareand the Lesser Town. Your guide will also point out the houses and palaces where Mozart played and lived. The tour will conclude at St Nicholas Church where the citizens of Prague paid their respects at a requiem held after the sudden death of Mozart. Your tour will end here where you can continue on your own to discover more in Lesser Town.
