This tour is a great introduction to Dubai and a perfect way to get your bearings in the energetic metropolis that is Dubai
Experience Includes
  • English speaking guide
  • Hotel pick up and drop off
  • Luxury air-conditioned coach or mini-bus transport
Overview

You will sample the best of the new, developed Dubai such as the Burj Al Arab hotel. However, this tour also explores parts of the old city that are untouched by development and retain original Islamic architecture and charm.  You will visit the Jumeira Mosque in the Bastakia district and the wind-towered houses built for merchants of the olden days.  Then, you will ride on an 'Abra', the local water taxi across the creek to the gold and spice souks. The souks are actually a string of shops full of spices and woody fragrance on one side and dazzling jewellery on the other.  You will have time to shop and stroll through these souks before returning to your hotel.

Dress Code/What to Bring
Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year although in the winter months it’s probably advisable to take a jumper or light jacket.  The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Swimwear should be confined to the beach and hotel pools. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops and villages.
