Swimming with the dolphins is something I always have wanted to do but last time we went to Orlando we were too late and it was full so this time we booked it well in advance and it was really worth it.We decided to have the day at Discovery Cove half way through our holiday and it was a really relaxing day and a change from all that walking around in the other theme parks.My partner didn't do the swim but he had enough to do with snorkeling and looking at the sting rays.The food was really good and so much of it.It was nice that there was not too many people in Discovery Cove and it really is something I would go back and do again when my children are old enough to be able to swim with the dolphins,we had left them with my parents for the day.

If you want a relaxing day away from the Themeparks, this is the place to go! They let a max of 1000 people in a day so it doesn't seem crowded. The food was great . Towels, masks and snorkels are provided along with sun cream and wet suits of all sizes. There is a seperate lagoon for the Dolphin Swim experience where you can stroke the dolphins and hold onto their fin for a swim round. Great experience. Only downside, is the price of the photos and DVD's.

This was the first time going to Florida and one of the places we wanted to visit was definatley Discovery Cove. One of my daughters dreams was to swim with dolphins. We really loved the day we spent there it was one of the best days of our lives.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the staff they look after you so well. You are made to feel special for the whole day.Everything was provided even sun cream!!
The atmosphere was wonderful and we felt as though we were on a carabean island.It did help that the weather was brillant as well!!
The staff were really freindly and our trainer was very wonderful.She told us a lot of things bout the dolphins and other aminals there. the whole day will stay with me forever. It maybe expensive but it is definatley worth every penny.Discovery cove should be top of everyones list when going to Orlando and I will recommend Discovery Cove to all my friends.

A both quiet and funfilled day. The kids enjoyed it, and the dolphins were absolutely fantastic to be with. They were so friendly, and the staff who were there were also really helpful too. There were so many things to do:
swimming with dolphins
swimming with stingrays
even feeding the sting rays.
It's an experience i'll never forget.
