Discover the beauty of Queenstown and history rich Arrowtown on this relaxed 3 hour tour around the areas points of interest in comfort on a London double decker bus! Your half day tour travels in a loop from Queenstown taking in many of the area's highlights along the way with great views from the top of the legendary Routemaster bus.

You will leave Queenstown travelling along the shore of Lake Wakatipu and on to idyllic Lake Hayes. From here it is on to the 100 year old Kawarau Bridge, the suspension bridge where adventure tourism first began in New Zealand in 1988 with AJ Hackett’s first commercial bungy jump. Watch adventure seekers plummet towards the Kawarau River below from the purpose built viewing platform.

Your third stop will be at the award winning Gibbston Valley Wines, a boutique winery famous for its Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Then you are off to visit the historic town of Arrowtown, a restored Chinese settlement and ex-goldmining town steeped in history. Spend 50 minutes exploring, then set off for the final stop on your tour, the historic Edith Cavell Bridge, before heading back to Queenstown.

Additional Information

As there are two departures daily it is possible to get off the first bus and spend a little longer in Arrowtown and return on the next bus back to Queenstown.
