As I hadn't been in this part of Canada before I thought I would go on this tour to Lake Lousie and the surrounding lakes.As I didn't drive it was very handy to be picked up and dropped back to my hotel,especially as there had been some snow during the night.However it was a lovely clear day with sunshine so it couldn't have been a better day to take the trip.Our guide was very interesting and he had so much to tell us.He told us how a tragic accident at Lake Louise changed the mountain culture.At the source of the Bow river we could see the hunting lodge which the guide said had been built in the 1900's.The scenery was fantastic and it was really good to have the use of binoculars as we were able at times to get out of the coach.However you didn't stay out for long as it was so cold and this was when the hot chocolate came in very handy.All in all a very good trip and I would certainly recommend it.
