If you fancy a bit of exhilaration and a sample of authentic desert life, this is the excursion to book while in Dubai.

You’ll be picked up in luxury, air-conditioned 4-wheel drive vehicles and taken to the desert where you will race up giant sand dunes and plunge over blind precipices.
After a couple of hours, you will reach a campsite nestled deep in the desert where a warm traditional Arabic welcome of dates and coffee awaits you. Your barbeque supper will be served to you in authentic tents where you’ll sit on embroided cushions and traditional Arabic carpets. It is a time-honoured Arabic tradition to smoke a water pipe called Narhileh or ‘hubbly bubbly’ and this will be offered to you during dinner.After dinner, you can take a ride on one of the camels that are based at the campsite or sit atop a dune and watch the sun go down. There is also entertainment laid on in the form of a professional belly dancer who will gladly show you the basics if you wish to join in!

Lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year although in the winter months it’s probably advisable to take a jumper or light jacket. We also advise that you take good quality sunglasses and be sensitive to local traditions during Ramadan.
The 4x4 vehicles used are air-conditioned and carry a maximum capacity of 6 passengers plus driver. All drivers are qualified off-road professionals; first-aid trained and carry mobile phones. All vehicles are equipped with seat-belts and passengers are required to wear them at all times.
This safari trip takes you through rugged routes intended to create an adventurous and exciting experience. Therefore, children under the age of three years old are not permitted.
