A totally fantastic trip and really great value.

We nearly didn't book this as we thought that we just wanted to relax on the beach and by the hotel pool for 7 days. However, after a few days that gets a bit boring so we were glad that we'd booked a few things in advance. I can honestly say that a trip to Dubai wouldn't be complete without booking the Desert Safari and Sunset BBQ. Driving a 4X4 on the sand dunes is a real adrenalin rush, the food at the BBQ was really tasty and watching a desert sunset from the top of a camel was totally unforgettable. Plus, everyone that we encountered on the trip was very friendly, especially the 4X4 driver who was totally mad!

My mother lives in Dubai so I thought it was time to make a trip there to intoduce my new girl friend and have a fantastic hiliday at the same time.So flights booked I decided to treat my girl friend and book a trip and looking on do this site the Desert Safari & Sunset BBQ, ticked all the boxes. We really enjoyed our Desert Safari. The four wheel driving through the desert and up and around the dunes was fabulous. The camel ride was a bit bumpy but was a laugh to see everyones expressions. The food was plentiful and very tasty. This a brilliant tour,
and has certainly left us with very good memories of our trip to Dubai.

Cracking trip this. I've been to Dubai a few times and always used to crash round the pool and generally not leave the hotel.

A good friend of mine recommended this trip and i have to say i am very glad i took his advice.

Everything was tip top. The 4x4 vehicles were excellent as was the food and the entertainment.

Now on to the driver - our chap was called Ravi and he wouldn't have looked out of place on Top Gear. He was a highly skilled driver who knew exactly what he was doing. Actually, he drives like my Mrs but with a bit more panache.

Mark my words folks, 5 years from now Ravi will be on the formula 1 circuit

All the best

Cheers

Dan and I went to Dubai for our honeymoon and I'm so glad we escaped the city after a few days into the desert on this tour. It was so beautiful being out in the desert for sunset and the meal was excellent. I'd always stupidly thought the smoking a shisha was some kind of drug but it was actually really nice. The belly dancer was really cool too and she really tried to get people up there with her!

I did this trip a couple of weeks ago. For the price it is great value, and was very enjoyable. The 4 by 4 drive through the desert was great fun, if some what bumpy. At the camp you get the chance to ride on a camel (a very friendly one) and then you get offered Arabian coffee. You can have as many free soft drinks as you want at the camp and the BBQ is great, with again as much food as you want available. Well worth doing and a great break from Dubai city itself.

We booked this trip up before we went to Dubai. Unfortunately we we not picked up at the set time but left waiting for 2 hours. However the company more than made up for the error and gave us a memorable trip into the desert to see the sunset and then on to the BBQ and entertainment. We had a most memorable experience and would thoroughly recommond anyone to do this trip. The food cooked and served up was excellent and the atmosphere was brilliant. This was an excursion well worth doing.

If this is your first trip to Dubai then do this trip!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic! A must do! We did this at the end of our holiday and truly the holiday would have been totally incomplete without this tour. First the convenience of being picked up from the hotel and dropped off afterwards was really appreciated, and the vehicle was really very comfortable and the driver very polite and very professional. The sand dune bashing was just an out of this world experience, my toddler son just loved it. Watching the sunset out in the desrt was totally wow! The camel ride was an experience in itself. Dinner was lovely, so much choice and variety of dishes and delicious too. Then the belly dancing that was fun too and got everyone involved and the evening ended beautifully. Highly recommended. An experience not to be missed. So much fun in such a few hours a truly unforgettable experience.

A must do when in Dubai. The pick up was prompt, good quality transport. The desert safari was fun and watching the sunset over the dunes was very memorable. The bbq and evening entertainment was very good - well worth the money.
Although, I would stay clear of the lady offering free henna tattoos as i was very sick the next day and ended up on a drip in Dubai airport hospital!!

What a fantastic trip and a completely different way to spend an evening!
We were picked up from our accommodation in a new and very large 4x4 with great aircon and driven through the city towards the desert, a completely different side of Dubai. We then met up with the rest of the convoy and began our Desert Safari.
What an experience! There were a couple of times where I had to close my eyes and the rest of the group were witness to my screams. But overall we felt safe and in very capable hands.
We then arrived at a Bedouin camp, which was beautiful, and we were offered dates and Arabic coffee. It was then a free evening of fantastic delights! There were free chicken shawarmas and falafel for starters and you could go back and get as many as you liked, which we did! Included in the evening were free henna tattoos, shisha pipes, camel rides and sand boarding. The food was a buffet, but all tasted fresh and was more than enough for seconds and thirds! After the meal we all sat round the main area for a belly dance show. All in all it was a great evening and a chance to see a different side of Dubai. Definitely recommend this trip.

What a thrilling experience!

I would recommend Desert Safari and Sunset BBQ to anyone going to Dubai. The drive along the sand dunes was great fun (if a little white-knuckled!) but the drivers make you feel very safe and obviously know exactly what they are doing. We stopped half way to watch the sunset over the desert, which was stunningly beautiful – we got some great photos! The desert BBQ was authentically delicious and the entertainment was fantastic – you can ride a camel and have a go at sand boarding.

Definitely take a jacket or a jumper – it did get chilly towards the end of the evening!
