This stunning safari takes you through the scenic Deer Park, elevated above the magnificent Queenstown Basin.  Here, you will find stunning panoramic views of the surrounding countryside with its soaring peaks reflecting in the crystal clear alpine tarns. 

You will visit Lord of the Rings film locations including where Gandalf rode to Gondor, where the people of Rohan escaped and where the Wargs attacked Aragorn.  You will see where Disney’s ‘The Rescue’ was filmed and learn a little about local Maori legend and gold rush history.
