Your expert guide, a permanent resident of the Daintree Rainforest, will lead you on an adventure through the pan fern forests of the rainforest where you will encounter examples of ongoing evolution far from the hustle and bustle of tourist trails.  In the heart of the world's oldest rainforest you will be humbled to realise that this was once Gondwana, as your guide relates the history of this World Heritage site.

This lush rainforest is home to many rare and unique examples of flora and fauna, including striking fungi, clubmosses, ferns, conifers and amazing cycads. There are no boardwalks, no tourist buses and no man made structures on your tour, emphasizing the splendour and beauty of your surroundings.

Dress for the conditions of the day. Suitable clothing and footwear for walking through the rainforest on natural tracks is necessary. Please note that self drive is recommended for this tour, however transfers from Cape Tribulation resorts are available for AUD10, payable locally.
