Follow in the footsteps of Dan Brown’s fictional hero, Robert Langdon and discover the areas of Paris made famous by the best selling novel ‘The Da Vinci Code’.- Guided walking tour of Paris to the sites featured in Dan Brown’s famous novel
- Expert English-speaking guide
The Da Vinci Code Walking tour takes you through the pages of the most famous book of the past decade. Follow the path trodden by Robert Langdon as he searched for the hidden clues that are littered throughout Paris and visit sites such as Place Vendome, the Louvre, the inverted pyramid, St. Sulpice Cathedral and more.
Your walk commences at the renowned Hotel Ritz where the novel opens. Walk through the Jardin des Tuileries and enjoy the beautiful gardens as your enthusiastic guide highlights a few of the author’s liberties taken in the writing of this novel. From here, continue to the Carrousel du Louvre, where Silas murdered the museum curator Jacques Saunier and also see the inverted pyramid that Brown inferred housed the Holy Grail. The next section of the walk takes you over the Seine at Pont des Arts and on to the gallery district of the Left Bank. This brings you to the Church of St-Germain-des-Pres and then the final destination, the St. Sulpice Cathedral (please note the St Sulpice may be closed on Sunday for Mass). Here you can explore the atmospheric rooms and follow the infamous Rose Line to the towering obelisk where Silas had mistakenly believed the Holy Grail rested.
