A great opportunity for a fun family day out, this excursion explores the many different aspects of Borneo culture. Some of the activities include Batik painting, visiting a Pottery factory to admire the local Borneo motifs used in ceramics and an opportunity to try your hand at crab fishing. 

Enjoy a unique river cruise on a traditional bamboo raft through mangroves taking in the wonderful wildlife and learn about the importance of the riverine forest to local people and the areas ecosystem. After your raft trip you are taken to a local house where you can try a cup of ‘Teh Tarek’ which literally translates as ‘pulled tea’, a popular drink among the locals. You then have around an hour's free time to try  Batik painting and crab fishing using hand fishing lines.
