You'll glide through the city streets and on to South Melbourne, St Kilda, Prahran and Malvern aboard the Melbourne Colonial Tramcar Restaurant - Melbourne's tramcar restaurant-on-wheels. The tram is painted a distinctive glossy burgundy and is especially fitted out in velvet and brass like the luxurious Pullman-style European trains of the past.
You'll be welcomed aboard your 1948 Melbourne tram restaurant by a smiling maitre d' and be served by a friendly, professional team of silver-service waiters. Choose from a four-course lunch aboard Melbourne's tramcar restaurant, an early three-course dinner or a more leisurely five-course dinner later in the evening. Delicious meals featuring fresh local produce are prepared onboard the tram, and a wide choice of alcoholic beverages is available from the fully stocked bar.

Appetizer:
- Chicken liver and cognac pate crowned with a port wine and pink peppercorns
- Roasted red capsicum dip served with assorted crisp bread
Entrees:
- Kangaroo loin brushed with lemon myrtle, thyme and honey, served on a vegetable and chive frittata with bush tomato chilli jam
- Tasmanian ocean trout pan seared and served on julienne vegetables with a soy ginger reduction
Main Courses:
- Grilled chicken fillet served on a Mediterranean vegetable risotto with pesto, shaved parmesan and a roasted tomato sauce
- Victoria farmed eye fillet of beef resting on a potato and herb rosti, with seasoned vegetables, onion marmalade and rich beef jus
Cheeses:
- Selection of Australian cheese served with fruit bread and water crackers
Desserts:
- Warm sticky date pudding topped with butterscotch sauce served with cream
- White chocolate and passionfruit parfait with praline and vanilla raspberry syrup
Beverages:
- Wines - selected Victorian red and white wines
- From the bar - Beer, Whiskey, Brandy, Gin, Vodka, Bacardi Rum and Dry Vermouth

The Colonial Tramcar Restaurants consists of 3 traveling tramcars with a maximum capacity of 36 passengers in each. There are booths for 2 or 4 people in each tramcar. Maximum total capacity is 108 people.
Children under the age of 5 years are NOT permitted
Children's menu are not available however, if given plenty of notice meals may be simplified. This must be advised at time of booking.
If cancelled within 14 days prior to tour departure, 100% cancellation fee of total fare applies.
