Start off with a visit to Paarl in the spectacular Paarl Valley and the chance to sample the first wines of the day. Learn more about the processes and techniques involved in wine-making on a cellar tour at one of the local estates, before heading north-west to the picturesque village of Franschhoek, often referred to as the gourmet capital of South Africa. Continue to the historic town of Stellenbosch at the heart of the country's wine region for more tastings before relaxing on the picturesque journey back to Cape Town through mountain ranges, vineyards and Cape Dutch homesteads.
