Although you may be of the belief that you have seen and done it all at the Grand Canyon, until you have seen these magnificent parks you’ll have no idea what you’re missing. Many that have journeyed to Bryce Canyon found it far more miraculous than they did the Grand Canyon.

Your tour will begin with a scenic drive to Zion Park, accompanied with expert guides more than capable and prepared to answer any of your questions, which will inevitably arise on this mind blowing nature adventure. You’ll pass through the small casino town of Mesquite on the Nevada Arizona border, before crossing into the desolate Arizona Strip and heading up to Utah alongside the Virgin River Gorge.

Expect to be wowed as you drive through the wondrous vast land of Zion. This national park is a home to an unusually diverse variety of animals, including 289 bird species, 75 mammals, 19 bat species included, and 32 reptiles. The park’s unique location allows it to boast a rare amount of geographic environments in such close proximity. On your Zion discovery you can expect to see mountains, canyons, rivers, natural arches, monoliths and other natural marvels.

You’ll leave Zion driving through the picturesque rural countryside en route to Bryce. You’ll travel through the pigmy forests of southern Utah and drive alongside the Virgin River Gorge and the Servier River, enjoying the wonderful geological sights before arriving at Bryce Canyon.  

It is to be noted that Bryce isn’t a Canyon at all, but an amphitheatre created by ice, winter and water erosion. Once you have taken in the beautiful views from two of the amphitheatres best vantage points, Inspiration Point and Bryce Point, you’ll have the chance to stroll along the rim of the canyon at Sunrise Point to Sunset Point. The land between these two points is flat enough to take some amazing photographs and really bask in your surroundings. Beware that Bryce Canyon is situated at an altitude of over 8000 feet, it is likely you’ll become breathless – so be sure not to overdo it.  

Departing from Bryce Canyon you’ll travel north across the Paunsaugunt Plateau, through the tiny town of Panguitch, and over a small mountain range. There is an optional stop at Red Canyon, a state park which you’ll pass through on the way back to Vegas.
