Based on the smash-hit film, Sister Act is the story of disco diva Deloris Van Cartier who is put in protective custody in a convent after witnessing a murder. Disguised as a nun, she finds herself at odds with the with both the rigid lifestyle and uptight Mother Superior. Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but in doing so, blows her cover!

Disco diva Deloris Van Cartier has dreams of hitting the big time. But when she walks in on a "hit" of a different kind, the cops hide her in the last place anyone would think to look - a convent! At first, Deloris - disguised as "Sister Mary Clarence" - has trouble adjusting to life under the strict rule of Mother Superior. But when she transforms the convent's choir into the most glorious new musical act in town, Deloris forms a lasting bond with her newfound friends… and the gang that's chasing her finds itself up against an unstoppable team of soulful sisters!
