You will be greeted at the launch site with a strong cup of tea and coffee and then invited to join in the inflation process as the balloon comes to life. Absorb the amazing tranquillity of the morning sunrise as you take to the skies and sip a refreshing glass of champagne as you marvel at the stunning views of the beautiful Sabie River Valley. The distant views to the west are of the mountains, including Gods Window. The views to the east are of the land gradually flattening out towards the horizon, with the Sabie River winding its way towards the sunrise. The vegetation is a mix of riverine forest, indigenous bush and fruit orchards, and the sub-tropical climate ensures that the area is green and lush almost all year round. This is a beautiful ballooning venue! Whether skimming the treetops or climbing to several thousand feet the balloon is wonderfully calm as it moves with the wind.

Depending on the weather and landing sites, this unique experience lasts for around an hour and after the flight passengers join the pilot for breakfast at a country lodge, and for the presentation of flight certificates.

Casual. A warm jersey or jacket may be needed for the early morning when it's cooler and binoculars and camera are definitely a must!

There is a minimum of 4 persons per balloon. If there are less than 4 persons in your party, you will be put with another couple/person.

The balloon can carry a maximum of 8 passengers, however the actual number of people on each flight depends on individual passenger weights so please ensure that you advise correct weights when making your booking.

Passengers must be fit enough to stand unassisted for an hour and must also be able to climb in and out of the basket. Youngsters are welcome but should be at least 1.2m (4 foot) tall, so that they can see over the rim of the basket.  Regrettably, pregnant persons may not participate in a balloon flight.
