Although this is an early start, I would definitely recommend making the effort to take this flight. I didn't want it to end. Seeing the sun rise over the nile is an experience that I'll never forget and I'm so please my son booked it for me

This was a fantastic experience, yes it is an early start but well worth it. The pilot was lovely and we spent 45 minutes in the air. It was one of the best excursions I have been on.

We had a 4.30am call for our pick-up for our balloon flight. After hanging around for ages we were driven to a carpark were about 15 trucks were waiting.The carpark overlooked the valley and we saw the hotair balloons taking off at sunrise. Apparently they were hopelessy overbooked and we all had to wait for over an hour and half till they had landed. We then had our flight but it wasn't at sun rise. Everyone was very dissappointed. We heard later that people had booked in Luxor the previous evening at Thomas Cook for half the price and had the earlier flight. The flight was very good.

This was an amazing experience, getting to see the sun rise over the valley of the kings, and get such an out standing view of the all sights and the surrounding area of the Valley!

All the people involved with making this experience, the guides, the boat owners, the balloon workers and pilot were all very friendly and helpful. I was nervous about climbing into the boat, but they helped me down into it. And I struggled slightly to climb into the basket because I have a mild disablity which can affect my legs and hips, and they did not see this as a issue, they just gently picked me up and helped into the basket! and then again when we landed.

I wasn't keen on having to be ready in reception for 4.10am, but I have to say it was definately worth getting up so early for!

The one and only thing I would warn anyone thinking of taking this trip is...the launch sight is a breeding ground for mosqito's!! Everybody was getting bitten by them, while we were waiting to launch...So be very prepared for the little monsters!

very, very good. It was a little scary and quite pricey but it was all worth it. You could see over nearly all of Egypt from up in the air. i would seriously consider doing it again. Magnificent!
