Just 50 minutes from Melbourne, The Yarra Valley, famous for it's Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, is home to over 90 vineyards and 35 wineries. One of Victoria's most popular tourist destinations, the Yarra Valley boasts many walking and cycling tracks throughout the Warrandyte State Park and both the Yarra Ranges and Kinglake National Parks make this an ideal place for a hot air balloon adventure.

Your morning balloon flight starts from the delightful Fergusson's Winery where you will be given the chance to assist with the launch if you desire. As you rise above the winery to take in the many vineyards in the area the sun rises with you creating a breathtaking sight.

Relax as the wind floats you along over the beautiful Yarra Valley with views to the surrounding mountains before you land and head back to Fergusson's Winery for a delicious Champagne breakfast. What an amazing way to start your day!

As we meet before sunrise it can be cold so warm socks and sturdy shoes are necessary, as is warm layered clothing which can be easily removed as the day gets warmer. A hat is also recommended to protect from the heat of the burner.
A cap and sunglasses are recommended.
You may get wet feet so a change of shoes and/or socks is recommended.
As ballooning is an audience participation activity we suggest that you wear clothes that can get stained or dirty. Please note that water mixed with carbon which may drip from the burners can stain clothing and no responsibility will be taken for this.
High heeled shoes are not suitable for this trip.

Situated just 50 kilometers from Melbourne at Dixon's Creek, the easiest route to Fergusson Winery is along the Maroondah Highway to Coldstream and then joining the Melba Highway through Yarra Glen.
Extra people may join you at the Champagne Breakfast for AUD30 per person, payable locally. Please call ahead to advise of any additional people.
All flights are weather dependent; please call ahead to reconfirm your flight 24 hours prior to scheduled departure.
