Tackle exciting rapids and enjoy the spectacular scenery on this fun-filled white water rafting adventure. See cascading waterfalls, towering river cliffs and terraced rice plains as you follow a route through rainforest and narrow gorges.

• 30 minute safety briefing and instruction
• 1.5 – 2 hour white water rafting trip on either the Ayung River or Telaga Waja River

You have the choice of tackling one of two rivers on this white water rafting trip. No previous rafting experience is required and you will receive around 30 minutes tuition. The river rafting on the Ayung River is more suited for beginners and those who like more challenge should choose the Telaga Waja rafting option as the rafting difficulty is one level up from Ayung River. 

Ayung River - Ubud
Carving through some of Bali’s most fantastic landscape, the Ayung River provides a thrill the moment you push off from the river bank. As you tackle over 28 class II and class III rapids, you will wind through deep valleys past cascading waterfalls, dense rainforest and towering cliffs of prehistoric significance. On the more leisurely stretches through tropical forests you will see Hindu shrines that are brightly decorated on ceremonial days of prayer. Just as you think it is all coming to an end, the unpredictable Ayung River propels your raft into yet another rapid.  A sumptuous lunch is served at a terraced river café on completion of your rafting adventure.  

Telaga Waja River - East Bali
The Telaga Waja River flows from the sacred Mount Agung and provides a challenging trip from the time that you drop into the first set of rapids. In a continual spray of white water, you will rush past steep banks and ancient hanging trees and get wet from the misty downpour of the natural waterfalls overhead. Your experienced guide will give you instruction throughout to help you safely navigate the raft through torrents, twists, tight turns and inclined rapids. Your day ends with a welcomed lunch.

Casual. Bring an old pair of trainers or strapped sandals, your swimming costume, hat and sunscreen plus a small towel and a change of clothes. 

All passengers must be over 7 years old.

 

Rapids are generally Class II and Class III but can sometimes rise to grade IV during the rainy season (November-March).
