Depart Alice Springs and enjoy a light breakfast on board the coach. First stop is at Erldunda Roadhouse and Aboriginal art display for a coffee break (own expense). Continue on to Mt Conner lookout for a photo opportunity. Arrive at Yulara around midday, where lunch is served on board the coach before travelling to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. Visit the Uluru and Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to learn more about Aboriginal culture and art. There is the opportunity to climb Uluru if desired (subject to weather conditions) or accompany your guide on the Mala Walk, which takes you through one of the most important habitation areas for Aboriginal people over thousands of years. At Mutitjulu Walk your guide will indicate the natural features of the landscape, Aboriginal rock paintings and relay traditional stories of this special place, once an important water source for Anangu (the local Aboriginal people). Watch the sunset and the changing colours of Uluru while enjoying a barbecue champagne dinner. After dinner depart for Alice Springs. Tour concludes at approximately 12 midnight, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.

Dress for the conditions of the day; please remember that it can be very cold in the early morning and after dark whilst very hot during the day.
A hat, sunscreen, sturdy walking shoes and bottled water are recommended.
All walks and climbs are subject to weather conditions.
There may be the opportunity to undertake the demanding 1.6km climb to the memorial cairn at the top of Uluru but this may be unavailable at any given time due to Aboriginal cultural requirements.
Walking and climbing on the domed rocks of Kata Tjuta is not permitted.
Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park fee of A$25 per person is required, payable locally.
