The Amsterdam Canal Bus is a fun way to explore this delightful city and provides the perfect opportunity for visitors to get their bearings. The comfortable boats operate along four routes, taking you to the best known landmarks and attractions including the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House and Rembrandt House. There are 20 stops around the city and you can hop on and hop off the Canal bus at any of these stops for the duration of your ticket. Spend as much time as you wish to explore, sightsee or shop before boarding the next boat to continue your cruise. During the winter season the boats depart approximately every 40 minutes and during the summer boats depart every 20 minutes. Your pass is valid on the Green, Red and Blue Line for either 24 or 48 hours and onboard the canal bus, there is multilingual commentary offering an interesting overview on the famous Amsterdam sites.

Canal Buses are not easily accessible for wheelchairs. A wheelchair lift is not available to customers and to access to the boat is via a set of stairs.The Canal Bus does not run on December 25 or January 1 until 12pm noon.
