Downtown Loop (departs daily every 15-30 minutes 9am to 5pm)
A great introduction to San Francisco this Double Decker Bus Tour allows you to discover the city at your own pace and see the best sights and sounds. You can hop-on and off the double-decker buses as often as you please allowing you to spend as much time as you wish to explore, sightsee or visit attractions before boarding the next bus to continue with your tour. The complete loop takes around 90 minutes and the live commentary on board ensures you do not miss any of the sights.
Tour highlights include: Fisherman’s Wharf, Barbary Coast / Financial District, Ferry Building, South of Market, City Hall, Union Square, Chinatown, North Beach, Lombard Street and Pier 39.
Golden Gate & Sausalito Loop (departs daily on the hour from 10am to 5pm).
Departing from Fishermans Wharf the Golden Gate Loop heads along the water front to the Palace of Fine Arts for a brief photo stop. Continue to Golden Gate Bridge, passing Crissy Fields and then crossing the 1.7 mile span of the Golden Gate Bridge. The bus will stop at the North Vista Point for a 10 minute photo stop where you can get great pictures of Alcatraz and the San Francisco skyline. From the Vista Point, the bus will go back across the Golden Gate Bridge and explore the Presidio National Park, and the mansions of Pacific Heights. The loop takes around 90 minutes and you can hop on and hop off at any of the convenient stops giving you the chance to explore local attractions before continuing you’re your tour.
Golden Gate Park Loop (not Hop-on/Hop off; departs at 10:30am and 2:30pm from Union Square).
The Golden Gate Park Loop departs from Union Square and heads along Geary St, passing St. Mary's Cathedral and San Francisco's Japantown. Also see Alamo Square, home to the world famous "Painted Ladies" Victorian houses. The bus then whisks you towards the beautiful Golden Gate Park. Here you can visit such renowned attractions as the De Young Museum, Japanese Tea Gardens and the new multimillion dollar California Academy of Sciences which features an aquarium, a planetarium, a natural history museum and more all under one “living” roof. The return to Union Square takes you through the famous Haight Ashbury district.
Night Loop (not hop-on/hop-off; Nightly at 6pm)
Departing from Union Square, or Fisherman's Wharf, this one hour tour of San Francisco includes the best of the city by night. See the Financial District, Chinatown, North Beach and Embarcadero among the highlights. Depending on the time of year it may not be dark when this tour takes place.
