Overview

This part of Tuscany is where the famous Chianti red wine is produced but it is also well-known for its beautiful countryside, its dotted woods and olive groves, quaint farmhouses and villas and extraordinary castles of ancient beauty. On this tour you will visit a cellar at one of the most famous wine-growing estates which is filled with barrels of the famous Chianti Classico wine. After sampling this fantastic wine and indulging in Italian snakes, you will be taken to a stunning Romanesque church.

In this old village surrounded by hills, you will be treated to a traditional alfresco Italian meal chosen from a rich menu and helpings of the delectable Chianti wine.
