The afternoon brings with it the chance to investigate Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) and complete the nearby Valley of the Winds Walk. This track takes you through breathtaking gorges and provides many photo opportunities while the sounds of bird calls and the wind echo in the valley around you. Back at Uluru watch in awe as the setting sun turns the huge expanse of ochre stone bright orange and then a deeper and deeper shade of red. After a hot cooked meal you can choose to either sleep out under the stars or in an authentic Aussie swag (bedroll).
Day 2.
Start the day off in the best possible way as you watch the colour of Uluru again dramatically change with the rising sun. After breakfast your knowledgeable guide will lead you on a base tour of Uluru before you are given the opportunity to climb to the top. You will spend your morning learning about ancient Aboriginal culture as you visit the mysterious rock formations and art sites in the area, as well as visting the Cultural Centre. After lunch your day continues with a stop at Watarrka, also known as Kings Canyon, it's 100m high sheer walls providing you with one of the most spectacular sights of the "Red Centre". Enjoy your delicious camp oven cooked meal at the campsite before retiring for the day for some well earned rest.
Day 3.
After breakfast you will have the chance to further explore the stunning Kings Canyon. The Amphitheatre provides incredible views of the rim of the canyon while the Lost City and the picturesque gorge and rockpool of the Garden of Eden are simply beautiful.
